Happening at : Origin of WASHLET

A medical cleansing toilet seat (of origin of WASHLET) was imported from USA to Japan in 1964, which was called "Wash Air Seat".

14 years later, in 1978, TOTO decided to develop their own WASHLET.

After two years of developing and testing, in 1980, TOTO started selling WASHLET for house use in Japan.

The “WASHLET” was nominated to MECHANICAL ENGINEERING HERITAGE NO.55 in Japan in 2012, according to the news from Japan.

Simply and naturally people use WASHLET everyday, and even WASHLET came out in the Disney movie "Cars".

The word of "Mechanical Engineering Heritage No.XX" lets me think of.......think of the history of WASHLET and heritage.

Now I am so proud of selling WASHLET to our customers with confidence!
